Sowing the seeds for the future of Moore County

2017/2018 Nursing Scholarships

The Moore County Health Foundation is utilizing the funds raised at the 2016 Harvest to provide scholarships to students who are currently, or who will be, enrolled in the Nursing program at the Amarillo College Moore County Campus.

We awarded our first seven scholarships for the Summer Semester, and have now opened the application for the Fall Semester.

The Fall Semester application will be open until August 14, 2017.

2017 Harvest

The 2017 Harvest has been scheduled for Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 8th Street Events.  The funds raised will be used to replace the eldest ambulance in the Moore County Emergency Medical Services fleet.

The entertainment for the evening will be country western artists, 2County4Nashville, and will include a pre-event reception for sponsors, a catered dinner, and a silent auction.

This is the Harvest's 3rd year.  It has previously raised funds to go towards the renovation of the Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and an endowment fund for area RN students.
